DYMO® D1 tape - 12mm
The standard DYMO® D1 tapes are suitable for use on smooth and flat surfaces. D1 tapes are available in the following widths: 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm and 24mm.
If you want to use the tapes on a curved surface, such as power cables, you should use the Dymo D1 flexible nylon tape.
For rough surfaces, the Dymo D1 permanent polyester tape is most suitable.
If you need even stronger tapes, choose the Durable D1 tapes.
The standard DYMO® D1 tape is suitable for almost all DYMO® LabelManagers™ and DYMO® LabelPoint™ tape printers. We have listed the suitable printers in the left column in our webshop. If your device is not listed, this D1 tape will not fit your DYMO® tape printer. DYMO® D1 tapes are not suitable for tape printers from other brands and are also not suitable for LetraTag and Rhino printers.
With a 12mm wide tape you can apply very clear lettering. The 12mm tape is the most commonly used tape and is therefore suitable for all normal lettering tasks. Think of labels for archive drawers and hanging files, mailboxes, doorbells, computers, tools, etc. Take into account the margins that are required along the edges of the tape for the printer, the text size will be a maximum of 9mm.
